The Tavern located in the Old Harbor District is one of the most frequented places throughout the game. Players can interact with the barkeeper to receive hints about various events. Some events are triggered randomly, necessitating multiple visits to the location. This locale offers various activities and can inform players about the level milestones needed to trigger events at the Guild HQ.
Unlock Conditions
The Tavern becomes accessible once a few conditions are met:
- Players need to explore and engage in at least one battle in the Deepwood Forest.
- Following this, a conversation with Bert at the Guild HQ is necessary.
Once the Tavern is unlocked, the following actions can be performed:
- Obtain hints about events available to players.
- Purchase food to restore HP and MP.
- Purchase beer later in the game, which helps to improve your relationship with Bert.
- Ascend the stairs to encounter the petrified hero once he has been freed. The hero remains at this location for a period of time.
