The Abandoned House is a location that becomes accessible after reaching level 9 and engaging in a conversation with Bert. In this location, you will assist Evie in dealing with a ghost, known as Nel.
- Meeting Nel: Visiting this location at 12:00 AM triggers an event in which you "meet" Nel. However, Nel will remain invisible to you without the Spirit Stone.
- Second Encounter with Nel: If you revisit this location following your initial encounter with Nel, and you're still without the Spirit Stone, you will experience another animated sequence. During this event, Celica attempts to attack Nel unsuccessfully and then runs away.
- Spirit Stone Quest: After telling Evie about your ghost sighting the next morning, she will instruct you to find a Spirit Stone, and her house will become accessible. Evie will attempt to give you her Spirit Stone, but it turns out to be stolen. You will eventually find the Spirit Stone in a pawn shop.
- Facing Nel: Upon equipping the Spirit Stone, you will be able to confront Nel. For the sake of story progression, it is necessary to "lose" to Nel twice.
