Meeting Conditions

First, you should have encountered Faylen during her visit to Agranor, which occurs after exploring the Spider Cave, reaching a high enough level, and unlocking the Misty Marsh. You also need to have triggered her events in the Elven Eleth Enclave. To do this, ensure Nel's relationship bar is at the maximum (10.9), so you can possess the puppet. As the puppet (Candy), go to the Deepwood Forest and level up until you reach level 5 with Candy. Now, explore the forest again, and an event will trigger where you'll meet Faylen again.

Celica will give the Spirit Stone to Faylen. Return to your body and go to the Eleth house alone. Nel will possess Faylen and start accommodating her body for your use in the abandoned house (where you meet Nel). You will also get the Spirit Stone back. Talk with Nel there, and after a couple of days (at least two), visit the abandoned house to start Faylen's relationship. Now you can start using Faylen's body.

Note: Faylen does not appear in the fortune teller relationship advice because she is an extension of Nel's relationship.

Perks

Faylen is primarily used for spirit training, allowing you to play as another character on limited maps and finish certain quests. Alongside Ceres' relationship, she will become an ally when you further increase both relationships.

Events with Other Characters

Faylen's relationship can be considered an extension of Nel's relationship. All her events include Nel, and while not an event, she will become a vessel for one of Ceres' crewmates, thus becoming an ally.

Increase Relationship Method

To increase her relationship, possess her and then go explore and fight monsters.

Relationship Levels

• 0 – 0.9: Fight monsters in Faylen's body.
• 0.9 – 1: Leave Faylen's body and return to your own. Ask Nel to take over, and she will check on Faylen, triggering an event. After that, Faylen will gain a new skill, the Staff of Reveal.

When you return to possess her, you'll discover that she expects you to also use her body for your own enjoyment. At this point, Nel will appear in Celica's body, now wearing the full pajama outfit, and you'll obtain the slippers during this event.

You can now proceed with the Mindflayer quest to obtain the Dark Nova Spell, but consider leveling Faylen to at least level 12, although it's better to reach level 20.

• 1 – 1.9: Fight monsters in Faylen's body.

As of version 64.014, you can reach the maximum relationship level with Faylen and should have already seen all her events. At this point, you can let her be possessed by one of Ceres' crew and continue developing her relationship.
