One thread can be found in Magma Mounds, the other in dark woods. They are in silver chests.
Get the treasure finder and upgrade it to a silver treasure finder by getting the silver ore at Dimmore cave.
You can then upgrade it to gold with a gold nugget. It will help you find the items
