Noctriel disappears during her new scene. Celica does for parts of it too.

Not liking her voice so far. I think it would fit better with someone else, but I can’t think of who. It’s kinda girly and cute. First thought was Evie, but Evie needs to be kind of sweet but also annoying or pestering. Elith was also a thought, but then I thought she’d be better as kind of oblivious. Noctriel needs a crueler voice, not a cute one. More like Ursula and less like Ariel. It can be hard to match voices with characters that have lacked them for so long, I would be perfectly happy to continue not having them and just use my imagination. Then again, I also rarely have need for game music, since I’d much rather listen to my own music collection, so take that for whatever it’s worth.

IMO, in the amount of time it would take you to find and direct the right voices, the game could be finished; I would much prefer the latter, and then you can indulge in difficult polish like voice and music. Indeed; though the background graphic update was quite impressive, it too is something that could have waited.

Update on previous post: in an effort to find the final new “secret”, after beating the latest General, I used the noxtar there (at the gate) and it summoned Noctriel, who then went into the new routine, even taking me to her lair. The images showed up correctly this time. (And then I was brought back, which for a moment I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to leave since I didn’t have a return potion.) Also, the battle and immediate aftermath took much longer than the first time before we got to the new stuff that had the graphical glitch the first time (things related to the phallic noxtar).

To clarify: I reloaded to before the bugged Noctriel encounter, did other new stuff, then did the above (battle and noxtar test).
